Name & Team Pickers
Tools for choosing a person, or splitting people into groups, in a way the room can see is fair. Built for classrooms, meetings, training sessions, and teams.
Pick a name, split a group, or choose a student — fairly and visibly.
Picking a name without picking a favourite
The hard part of choosing a person is rarely the choosing — it is being seen to choose fairly. A wheel solves that by making the draw public: everyone watches the same pointer land on the same name, so there is nothing to argue with afterwards. That is why teachers use the classroom wheel for cold-calling and why the random name picker gets used for everything from who presents first to who does the coffee run.
Names, numbers, or groups
Paste a list of names into the picker and it builds the wheel for you — commas or line breaks both work. If your class goes by number rather than name, the roll number picker saves the typing. And if you need to split people rather than pick one, the team generator and group picker divide a list into balanced groups in one pass.
Drawing without repeats
If you are working through a whole list — every student presents, everyone gets a turn — turn on elimination mode. The winner is removed from the wheel after each spin, so nobody comes up twice and you can see at a glance who is left.
