Decision Wheels

Every wheel here answers a question with a small, fixed number of outcomes. Pick the shape that matches your question — two options, a handful, or a die roll.

Quick answer

Wheels for either-or choices — yes or no, this or that, heads or tails.

When a decision wheel actually helps

A decision wheel is worth reaching for when the cost of choosing wrong is low and the cost of not choosing is high. Most of what people agonise over — where to eat, who goes first, whether to send the message — falls into exactly that gap. The wheel does not know which answer is better. What it does is end the stalling, and give everyone in the room a result they can accept without anyone having to be the one who decided.

Two options or many?

If it is a straight either-or, the yes or no wheel or the coin flip is the quickest route. Once you have three or more choices, use the decision wheel and type them in — the wheel rebuilds to fit however many you add, and every slice keeps an equal share.

A note on fairness

Every wheel here draws from your browser's random number generator and gives each slice an identical arc, so no outcome is favoured. Spins are independent, which means streaks happen — landing on the same answer four times running is normal, not a fault. If you need the wheel weighted toward one answer, add that option more than once.
