Odds, and being straight about them
By default every segment is the same size and carries the same chance. If you want a grand prize to be rarer, add the smaller prizes more than once — a wheel with one “free coffee” and nine “10% off” segments gives the coffee a one-in-ten chance, and the segment widths show that honestly.
Weighting by repeating segments is visible weighting, which is the right kind. A wheel that looks like even odds but is not is the thing that gets promotions into trouble; if the odds are uneven, the wheel should look uneven.

Add the common prizes multiple times. Ten segments with nine “small discount” and one “big prize” gives the big prize a one-in-ten chance, and the wheel shows that split visually.
Can I include a “no prize” segment?
Yes, and it is common at events. Label it clearly — “better luck next time” reads much better in a queue than a blank segment does.
Will it work on a big screen or a tablet at a stand?
Yes. It scales to the display and works with touch, so a tablet on a counter or a TV running a browser both work without any setup.
Does it work without wifi?
Once the page has loaded, spins run locally, so a patchy connection at a venue will not stop the wheel. Load it before the doors open and leave the tab open.
